My name is Evan Kleinman, and I am a grandchild of Holocaust survivors.  When I was thirteen years old, my grandparents, both the only surviving members of their families, had their testimonies video recorded.  After hearing their stories for the first time, I realized I had only just begun to understand what they had endured.

I always felt a trip to Poland, the birthplace of my grandparents and home to my family for generations, might be the key to a better understanding.  In this first-person documentary, my parents, sister and I make the journey together and walk the earth where our family was meant to be destroyed.

While confronting the horrors of our past, we ultimately discover the great miracle of our existence today and leave behind a marker that tells the world: We are still here.
